I am launching this appeal in order to strengthen and expand the support we give to many small projects that normally do not get the big headline treatment that some other charities get. We do not employ a huge staff nor have any highly paid fund raisers or executives. We do have a very loyal and generous membership that freely donate their own time and fiancial support.

The needs however in today's world are huge. In recent times there have been severe flooding events in Bangadesh, Myanmar and India. Earthquakes in China, Tibet and Pakistan. We have main projects a childrens nursery refurbished after the Asian Tsunami which is located in Weligama, Sri Lanka and a community health care centre in Chipata, Zambia.
