<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">In memory of John, Barbara, Michael and Joanne took part in the BUPA Great Manchester 10K run on 15<sup>th</sup> May 2011 and managed to raise more money for St John’s Hospice on the Wirral, which was John’s chosen charity. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">John was diagnosed with terminal oesophageal cancer in March 2009 and was determined to turn his situation into something positive by fundraising for a local charity which played a significant part in his palliative care in the latter stages of his life. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Over the last 2 years the family have raised £27,450, with gift aid included, by various events including:</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">John sadly lost his long, courageous battle for life on 10<sup>th</sup> March 2010 and we are continuing to raise money for the Hospice in his memory. It is our aim to try and reach £30,000. </span></span></p>
