Here at St Kentigern Hospice we offer specialist palliative care for people with life threatening or life limiting illnesses. We focus on the patient's quality of life by controlling symptoms through a holistic approach taking into account their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs.

Story

Over two years ago I was diagnosed with tongue cancer. I was helped through my treatment by St Kentigern Hospice, it was not until I faced this life treating illness that I realised the important part that the Hospice can play in your care.

The hospice is mainly funded through donations and needs over £1.25 million annually to continue its work. I made myself a promise whilst having my treatment that when I recovered I would raise funds for the hospice and to help achieve this I have organized a sponsored tandem Skydive. The skydive will take place at Tilstock Airport on 7th June 08

So far I have the following brave (Foolish) individuals who have volunteered to jump with me

Susan Edwards

Tina Jones

Andrew Cresswell

Daniel McVey

Josh Hughes

Darren Stobbs

And of course Me

If you would like to sponsor any of the above you can do so on line and all money goes straight to St Kentigern Hospice, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

If you put in your message who the sponsorship is for this will be allocated against the individual’s total.

Many thanks for your support.
