Guys and Girls - welcome to my serious bit.

Hopefully you are enjoying my adventure on Facebook and my Blog as much as I am, but there is a serious aspect to the fun.

Chicks is a charity myself and my Company have supported for over 13 years and a thoroughly worthwhile charity it is too. In brief, they arrange and give holiday breaks to kids from our Inner Cities, who come from seriously deprived backgrounds….check their site out, it’s a  balanced mixture of hope and sadness and well worth a look. http://www.chicks.org.uk/

Now I can’t change the world, but I know that ALL the cash I raise will go directly to putting smiles on kids faces and that’s a nice feeling.

So……please send me some money and, also, just stop and have a think before you tap in the amount:

A £19 donation could pay for a child's first time on a horse, followed by a summer BBQ treat;

A £29 donation could pay for a child's canoeing trip, followed by fish and chips and an ice cream;

A £39 donation could pay for a day out at an adventure park one one day and outdoor adventures like high ropes, climbing and abseiling on another day;

A £49 donation could pay for a CHICKS supervisor reading a bedtime story to the children every evening during camp;

A £99 donation could pay for a volunteer for a whole camp, ensuring a 2:1 child to adult ratio, making sure every child gets the attention they need and deserve;

A £635 donation could pay for one child to benefit from a 6 day respite break at CHICKS, providing them with positive memories in an otherwise troubled childhood.
