It's been five years since I won that Olympic gold medal and to be honest I've let myself go a bit. But for the next few months I'm back slogging it out across London's streets to try and recapture former glories. The training is really dull and cold so if you can cheer me up with a donation that would be ace.

I'm running this year's Marathon for a cause I'm really committed to so please help if you can. Merlin is a medical charity that provides health care for people at times when they are most in need; providing relief in conflict zones, where there have been natural disasters and in many of the poorest countries where diseases like malaria, tuberculosis and HIV threaten entire communities in regions where health centres or hospitals are poorly developed or non-existent.
