We believe every blind veteran should be able to lead the life they choose. At Blind Veterans UK we’re one, transformational team. We provide rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support. Together we can help rebuild lives.

Story

Thanks for agreeing to sponsor me.

A year ago, my Dad's sight began to deteriorate, and within five weeks he’d lost almost al
l of his sight, because of a condition called Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy. He will never regain his sight.

In true Stephen Robarts style, however, he took all this in his stride.  The support that he’s received - and continues to receive - from St. Dunstan's is a tremendous help, as both he and Mum learn to navigate this new direction life has taken them. So…  I'm taking part in the Great North Run and running 13 miles in aid of this worthy cause.  St. Dunstan's provides training, care and continued support to visually impaired people and their carers.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Dunstan's gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks again.
