Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm John Wilmut and this is the donations page for my walk from Lands End to John O'Groats from May - July 2012. I was walking in support of Christian Aid and its partners who are working to improve education for children in Sierra Leone and elsewhere. The aim is to improve learning, to enrich children's lives and extend their opportunities. I think that was something worth walking for and I'm delighted that, with the Gift Aid, we're now well over my target of £10,000. Thank you to everyone who donated and who helped and supported the walk. You can find out more about it in my book called 'Something Worth Walking For' (Arima Publishing, ISBN 978-1-84549-568-8) available via Amazon, Waterstones, Arima and other booksellers. Proceeds from the sale of the book are being added to the walk total.
