Story

Hi

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Johnson and Hammond completed the Great Cumbrian Run 2008

This year we are raised funds for the The Beatson Oncology Centre and Friends of the Beatson.

The money we raised offline (£503) was donated to Friends of the Beatson. The Friends of the Beatson Centre located in Beatson building has been designed as a “retreat” for patients and a place of calm which is quite different from the rest of the hospital.

The Beatson is Scotland’s largest cancer centre, and the second-largest in the UK.

The Beatson Oncology Centre is the lead centre for the delivery of non-surgical cancer care for the West of Scotland. It serves a population of 2.6m, and has clinical links with 16 hospitals in five surrounding health board areas.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Beatson Oncology Centre Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

We both thank you for your kind and generous donations.
