Story

One of the bosses of Johnsons Coach & Bus Travel and two of his children did a sky dive on Sunday 20th July 2014 and raised over £1,500 for Shakespeare Hospice.

John Johnson, Commercial Director of Johnsons and two of his children Sarah and Richard, who both work for the company, took part in the sky dive organized by The Shakespeare’s Hospice to celebrate the hospice’s 15th anniversary.

John Johnson commented: “On arrival at Hinton Airfield, in Brackley, Richard and I were raring to go, however Sarah became more nervous the longer we had to wait for the fog to clear! Eventually our names were called and sooner than we knew it, we were up in the sky. Jumping out of an aeroplane goes against all human instinct however the whole experience was just unbelievably breathtaking! It was an opportunity of a life time and I’m so glad we were able to raise money for such a good cause that is The Shakespeare Hospice.

Johnsons Coaches continue and are proud to support The Shakespeare Hospice this year by taking part in their Dragon Boat Race in September and their ‘Strictly come Prancing’ event in October.
