Bobath Bike Run 2008 · 5 August 2008

We're a charity that improves the lives of children and adults with cerebral palsy through specialist therapy, support and information.

Story

Hi again. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Yes it's that time of year when I challenge myself  to dust down the old bike and get on it for Bobath Scotland, a centre providing specialist physiotherapy to children with Cerebral Palsy, which my nephew, Thomas, attends.

Well this year the bike has been changed for a newer version but it's still the same old me and my creaking legs!

Responding to one of my customer's comments after last year's event (thanks RM - you know who you are!) that I could do more, I will be cycling 80 (yes you've read correctly) miles for this year's event. That's all on the one day in case you're wandering.

So, how can you help? Any chance of doing the cycling for me? On a serious note, and I realise that many of you have sponsored me in previous years, if you (as an individual or company) can sponsor me, it would be greatly appreciated by me, the Bobath staff and the children attending the centre, which is only partially funded by the NHS.

Donations can be made either on this webpage or I can add your name and donation amount to my off-line donation sheet.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Bobath Scotland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

And THANK YOU.
