Well, we all completed the run on Sunday and had a great day despite the damp weather! Stewart completed it in 58:08, Andrew in 49:52 and Mike in 44:23. Thank you very much for all your kind donations, and please remember you can continue to donate to NI Hospice for our run through this page :)

Paddy Johnston (Stewart's wife, and Spacer and Mike's Mum) passed away aged 60, on 27 August 2010 after a long battle with brain cancer.

 

In memory of her, and to raise much needed money for the Northern Ireland Hospice who supported her during her illness, we'll be running the Great Edinburgh 10k Run on Sunday 2 October 2011.

 

The Northern Ireland Hospice were a great source of help, care and support to both Paddy and Stewart during her long illness. They made a practical and helpful difference to both their lives in what was obviously an extremely difficult time.

 

Plus, this is an excellent opportunity to see Spacer with a big red face at the end because he hasn't been training properly. 

 

Any donation, no matter how large or small, would be greatly appreciated.
