Its overall aim is to offer the hand of friendship and support to those affected by Myotonic Dystrophy, be they patients, carers or professionals; via the helpline, newsletter, website, annual conference and local meetings. Research is also funded by the Support Group.

Story

Hello, I'm doing the London Triathlon on Sat 9th August and it would be great if you could help me raise some money for the Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group.  In return I will be trying to avoid drowning in rats pee and swallowing any brown floating objects, while lots of other people complete the race.

If you're at a loose end it's quite a good day out watching people fall over whilst changing out of a wetsuit.

Thank you

John
