Story

Well WHAT an achievement - I am SO proud of myself!

Huge thanks to John, Chloe, Ian, Vivienne, Bruce, Shirl and Mike for their unending support and cheering along the way, and also thanks to Tony, Barnaby, Rachel, Mai & ella for braving the throng at the Tower of London and cheering so loudly for us. It really did make a difference to us to have all the support that you and the amazing crowds gave us. Thanks also to Howard for giving us the shiny hats which clearly identified us wherever we ran. Massive thanks to Sandy for staying by my side and for encouraging me on this amazing journey. It really has been a day to remember forever - from the holy water sprinkling vicars by the side of the road, to the people giving generously of cold orange segments, jelly babies and digestives. We overtook a couple of Elvis's and a storm trouper, and a yellow submarine. We were passed by a rhino, Mr Tickle and Spiderman.

Everyone had their own reason for running the London Marathon and mine was to help raise funds for the British Heart Foundation. Thanks to everyone who sponsored me and particularly to Zoe Thrush for raising so much money off line for me.

Thanks to you all!

Jo
