Special offer, two for the price of one!!
On Sunday 4th July I will be taking part in the Leeds 10K and on Sunday 1st August I will be running in the York 10K. The good thing is you only have to sponsor me once! That’s right you get twice the effort from me for just one sponsor!
What is the point of going to the gym and going out for a training run if you can’t put all the effort to some use? I will be helping to raise money for Bone Cancer Research Trust; their aim is to promote research into the causes and treatment of Primary Bone Cancer. Bone cancer most commonly affects young people. Around 400 young people develop bone cancer each year in the UK. Current treatment depends on the intensive use of chemotherapy, surgery and in some cases radiation therapy. Treatment can extend over many months and, whilst many patients now survive, many do not.
