Story

On June 27th 2010 my mum was diagnosed with grade 3 brain cancer, this was a devastating blow to our family and the last 9 months have been a struggle to say the least!

My beautiful, amazing mum finally lost her battle against cancer yesterday, March 31st 2011. She was so brave and fought every minute to stay with us all. I am so proud of you mum, you are in my heart, mind and memories and we will all miss you every single day!

I have witnessed first hand how these organisations help families who are facing these struggles and have realised how heavily they rely on charitable donations in order to do this.

Myself and Matt have also heard about a young boy called Daniel Jarrett who has been diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia, being parents ourselves we can only imagine what his parents are going through and really want to help Daniel's chosen charity.

Daniel's charity is CLIC SARGENT which is a childrens cancer charity.

In order to raise money for this we are asking for you all to sponser us to trek to the summit of Snowdonia (and back down again!). We are doing this on Sunday May 8th 2011.

I hope those of you reading this are fortunate enough not to experience just how much this disease can devastate families and i would ask you to donate as much as you can because these charities really do help......If you happen to be part of the many unfortunate families out there then you already know how really important this is!

Please give generously in memory of my mum and for Daniel who can still beat this terrible disease with our help!

Every penny really does count so please dig as deep as you can!

Thanks and much love!

Jon and Matt.
