Virgin London Marathon 2014 · 13 April 2014 ·

DEBRA is the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, in the worst cases, can be fatal. We fund pioneering research and provide care and support to individuals and families living with EB.

Story

In April 2014 I am representing the charity DEBRA to run the London Marathon. DEBRA is a national charity working on behalf of people in the UK with the genetic skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). In the case of a very close friend of mine this condition tragically proved fatal for their 5 week old daughter, so this is all very close to my heart.

I have already started my training regime, having completed a half marathon last month with the aim of running the marathon in under 3 hours 30 minutes.

I have a fundraising target of £3,500 to help towards the research programmes that are close to achieving potential breakthroughs for people with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). So your support towards achieving this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!
