Asics Reading Half Marathon 2009 · 29 March 2009 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

I'm not quite sure how this happened to be honest. As we crossed the line at the Bristol half marathon a few years ago, I remember saying "That's the worst thing I've ever done. I'm NEVER doing that again!!!" (clean version!)
Anyway time is a great healer, and suddenly I find myself going out on 9 or 10 mile training runs at the weekend :-/. As before we've left setting up this page until the last minute. The great news is that any money we raise (up to £350) will be matched by Vodafone because I work for them and they're nice like that. Our chosen charity is one close to our own heart, so any small amount you can spare would be fantastic.

Some words from Just Giving to justify their commission.... Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Pancreatic Cancer UK gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
