Story
It all began in 2010 when I rode my first Coast to Coast for Marie Curie Cancer Care organised by the fantastic Purple Mountain team. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and vowed to return to help raise more funds for the charity every year in memory of family I have lost to cancer.
In 2011, I completed the ride after just 4 hours sleep when my son Harrison came down with chicken pox the night before and I missed England v's Germany!
Now in 2012, I'm returning to confront Dent Fell, all 352m (1155 ft) and I wont be stopping this time!
On a personal note I'm dedicating this years ride to Nicholas Stawart of Morpeth, my beloved father in law, who sadly passed away peacefully in October 2011.
