As you can see  myself and a few friends including my -soon to leave the nest- son Ben ,have decided to run hadrians wall in 24 hrs - sunrise to sunrise . We are not a group of ultra fit runners but a group that likes a challenge and would like to give something back to charity. It will all be self funded' so all and any donations go straight to charity .

I have chosen the NSPCC because i know as a GP in a lovely and relatively affluent part of the world what a stable and happy upbringing I and my children have had . Sadly this is not the case everywhere and children go through awful traumas. all the time .right under our noses sometimes. I would like to support any work that could help stop this or support those that have suffered .
