Story

This page is set up in memory of my wonderful fiance, 2LT Jonathan Carlos Bracho-Cooke. Jonny was killed in action in Iraq on 5th February 2007.

Jonny was so courageous and incredibly caring and giving. He believed strongly in helping others and supported veterans of the army and fellow servicemen whole-heartedly. The British Limbless ExServicemen's Association (BLESMA)  is a charity which supports servicemen and women who have been left with severe handicaps from their own bravery and willingness to put themselves forward for the greater good of others.

Joggingforjonny was set up joggingforjonny to raise money for BLESMA in Jonny's memory. Huge thanks to everyone who has run for jogginforjonny and everyone who has donated - your support means everything to me.

Mark Cage is running the Poppy Half-marathon on Sunday 13th November. I can't thank him enough for his support over the last couple of years. Please sponsor him generously.

We run in memory of a great man who stopped at nothing to help others. The pain of this loss is immense and unrelenting but by fundraising for BLESMA, I hope to use Jonny's memory to help his fellow heroes.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating to this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: BLESMA will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Please donate generously.

Thank you very much for all of your support.
