Three Peaks Challenge · 2 June 2006 ·

The Methodist Church exists to increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate God's love; to help people to learn and grow as Christians, through mutual support and care; to be a good neighbour to people in need and to challenge injustice; and to make more followers of Jesus Christ.

Story

Latest: Monday 5 June

They have done it!: Anthea and Jonathan are back on terra firma with all mental and physical faculties still intact, after climbing over 2 vertical miles in three days.

Anthea Cox and Jonathan Kerry, Co-ordinating Secretaries of the Methodist Church, climbed the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales: Ben Nevis (1344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon/YrWyddfa (1085m) on June 2,3,4 2006.

The sponsored walk is raising money for the Methodist Church Fund for Home Mission, and will be used to help the Methodist Church in its work alongside the neediest in our society.

"So please sponsor us now and help us reach our target. All donations made here will automatically gain an extra 28% in tax if you are a UK taxpayer."

"Many thanks for your support" Jonathan and Anthea
