Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
My London Marathon 2009 is complete and I am pleased with my time of 4hrs 32 mins. However, whilst my work is at an end that of Emunah, the charity I ran for, most definitely is not.
Emunah operates 5 children's residential homes, 135 day care centres and after-school programmes, award-winning educational institutions, crisis counselling centres, parenting classes and services for senior citizens. The children's residential homes care for over 1,000 children coming from backgrounds of abuse, neglect and abandonment. At Emunah children's homes, children are given loving care and attention, often for the first time in their lives. Emunah staff, therapists and tutors are personally involved with each child to provide for all their individual needs. Each child is gently nurtured back to emotional and physical health and given a fresh opportunity for a bright and hopeful future.
In times of national crisis, Emunah provides critical emergency services to people in distress, working to ease their issues and helping them return to normal life.Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.
