My name is Jonathan Garside throughout the past 18 months or so I have completed: 1 triathlon, 2 marathons, 2 half marathons, and 2 10k's. I entered these races to honour the memory of our family friend 'Carolyn' who tradigly died from an epilepsy fit a few years back.

This page has been set up to highlight and promote more awareness to 'Sudden Unexpected Death in EPilepsy' (SUDEP). I would also love to raise as much money as possible to go to the excellent charity EPILEPSY BEREAVED.

Epilepsy Bereaved supports research into preventing deaths and enables us to turn our sadness into something positive. There is potential to prevent some of the 500 deaths each year of young people like our Carolyn, see: www.sudep.org

In a new attempt to raise money I have set myself the challenge of completing: 3 endurance events in 3 months (or so...)
1.) Liverpool Half Marathon (29th March),
2.) Madrid Marathon (26th April),
3.) Liverpool Triathlon (olypmic distance) (21st June).
