Thank you for visiting my Fundraising page for the Smile Train Fun Run to be held in Dubai on Saturday 22 Nov’08. 

The SMILE TRAIN is such a worthy cause from which such wonderful & positive results can be so readily seen in poor children from developing countries that it is a joy to contribute in some way or other. This 10K run in aid of the Smile Train is a great opportunity to do so. This date also marks a suitable target date for me to train towards resuming normal sporting activities following my recent surgery on a detached hamstring - however, in view of this, I may be forced to walk as opposed to run.

The stories we have seen & read about with regard to children’s lives changing radically for the better following this US$250 surgery are delightful & so meaningful. The more we can raise, the more children’s lives we can improve & turn around in the most impactful way possible. Please give generously for this fantastic cause as we endeavour to run (walk) miles for smiles.
