At Macmillan, we will move mountains to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

What was i thinking? This walk is 100km. A stupid distance. Truly mad, for an overweight 42yr old.

But this isn't about me. Or about Jeremy who I am walking with. We are doing it in memory of, or in support of, others who have suffered over the past 12 months.

Me? I am doing this for John Gilbert, Hazel Rodger and Pat Thompson who lost their battles in 2012. Their pictures are below. Their bravery and dignity - and that of their family and friends - despite their illnesses are an inspiration to all those who knew them.

So this is for them, their families and friends.

Gone - but never forgotten. XXX John, Hazel and Pat.

So please dig deep and donate now.
