Since its launch in 1988, Red Nose Day has become a British institution. It’s a time when people across the country get together and fundraise at home, school and work to support people living incredibly tough lives, and has raised over £1.3 billion to date.

Story

Hi everyone,

Thanks for sponsoring me.  This Red Nose Day Friday 13 March I am choosing a slightly unconventional mode of transportation to get from home to work.  I live in Boscombe but work some 7 miles away in Poole.  I am going back to my youth and will be bouncing my way in on a giant space hopper named 'Dennis'.

I am undertaking a strict training programme of bed jumping, drinking fizzy drinks and using only flora light on my toast to help make me float. Joanna has a greed to coach me and act as my PR agent of course.

So come on help vulnerable kids both abroad and at home and please sponsor me now!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Comic Relief gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

A big Thank you from Dennis and myself.  Have a great Red Nose Day 2009
