Tour Divide 2012 · 8 June 2012

We exist solely to support The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces, looking after veterans, serving soldiers and families within our Airborne community. We're there for our nation’s paratroopers through the good and the bad, from the moment they join our family to the sounding of the last post.

Story

The Tour Divide is arguably the hardest bike race in the world. It is 2745 miles long, (from Banff in Canada to Antelope Wells in New Mexico) entirely off road and contains climbs that total 200,000ft. The race is entirely self supported, meaning that riders must bivvy trailside and manage their own logistics for the duration of the route.

I am competing in this event to raise money for The Parachute Regiment Charity whose objective is the relief of need, hardship and distress amongst past and present members of The Parachute Regiment and their dependents.
