On Good Friday this year very dear friends of mine lost their little girl. Lucy was just 8 days old when she lost her fight for life. Her parents Sybil and Chris have had to come to terms with the loss of their beloved daughter, something you never get over but just have to learn to live with. I pledged that I would do a real challenge to raise money for ECHO, who provide support for the children treated at the Evelina Children's Hospital at St Thomas's, where Lucy was looked after so well in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. So I'm doing a 10 mile run on the 21st November in Oxford .... those that know me well will know .... I don't do running, I never have, and once upon a long time ago vowed I never would. So with my running ability in mind I felt it only fitting that I should do something VERY challenging to help raise some cash, so that little angels like Lucy can have the best care possible in their hour of need. I won't be setting any records and I doubt I'll get anything close to being a good time (especially when surrounded by marathon runners anon) but I'd really appreciate it if you could support my efforts by parting with some of your hard earned cash for such a good cause.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thanks
Anna x
