At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

I am planning to sail across the Atlantic in the ARC, details can be found here. I will be sailing on a 40ft yacht, Intemperance, owned by Paul and Val. Rob and Sarah will also be crewing on the boat.  We set sail on Sun 26th November and hope to reach St. Lucia in about 20 days.

I wanted to use the opportunity to raise some money for the Alzheimer's Society as my Dad suffered from this disease when I was growing up.  So any donations based on number of days at sea, whether I make it to the other side, or how green I go, would be gratefully received.

If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
