Thanks to the help of some very skilled doctors, who fixed what I thought was an unfixable knee injury, I am able to give something back by raising money for a fantastic cause. Whilst that is reason enough, below is a much better one...

When both my wonderful boys were born there were complications that, for me, the useless father in the corner, were terrifying. Thanks though to the skills, knowledge and experience of the doctors and nurses from the amazing NHS service both George and Felix arrived fit and healthy and their Mum was fine too. All available care has been afforded to us from the day they were born and from then onward. Sadly, far too many women and families, across the world, never receive anything like the same level of care. As a result, many mothers and their children are lost to very treatable diseases. Amongst many other treatments, the £1400 I am raising for Doctors of the World can protect 10,000 mothers and their infants from the very real threat of Malaria.
