Hiya, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I've decided to try and complete an Ironman triathlon in Austria on 5th July 2009.  For those of you not familiar with an Ironman, it is a long distance triathlon comprising of a 2.3 mile swim, followed by a 112 mile cycle and finishing with a nice 26 mile marathon run.  All on the same day that is and not spread out over a month!

I've decided to try and raise some money for charity while I turn myself inside out, and have chosen the Tag Rugby Development Trust (TRDT), with whom I have previously travelled to India as a volunteer in 2008.  TRDT travel to developing countries and introduce primary school children to Tag Rugby through volunteer tours building a positive legacy, please visit www.trdt.co.uk.

I know this is not the best time to ask for charity donations but after visiting India last year I realised what real poverty is like and how just a few pounds can make a genuine difference.
