Raising money for The Great Football Giveway is a fantastic way of combining some of my passions, football, running and helping kids in Africa. Kicking a football is a simple pleasure, it brings joy and happiness to kids not matter where they are in the world. Kids in some parts of Africa however don't know what it is like to play with a proper football, making do with a homemade ball of leaves or empty beer can, or whatever they can use to help them play the beautiful game. The Great Football Giveaway is a very small charity, but already it has given over 10,000 footballs (and netballs) to kids across Malawi, Angola, Uganda and Zambia. Their next goal (no pun intended) is to giveaway another 3,000 balls to kids in Rwanda. For every £10 we raise they will personally hand deliver a ball direct to a child on our behalf and say it comes from us. Every ball we give will bring a smile to some football loving kid in Rwanda. Please support me no matter how small and if I manage to do keepy-ups with the ball for 26.5 miles while wearing a gorilla suit, am hoping some of you will double your donations! Thank you.
