Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Jordan J warriner and i am 17 years old and at the moment i am studying at South Notts College doing a sports Btec course. I have a great love for football and am lucky to be playing for the college team.I stated playing at the age of 10 for my junior school and have played regular football since for my local teams such as Rolls Royce and Bestwood. It is through my enjoyment of football and playing for south Notts that i met Joe Sargison 2 years ago who is the founder of the balls to poverty project. I was lucky this year to be chosen to travel for the first time to uganda and take part in all aspects of the balls to poverty project. Part of this involvment includes taking my level 1 coaching badge for which i willl be able to then give my knowlwdge back to the children of uganda. Being part of the project i have pledged to raise the minumum of £250. One way i am trying to raise this amount is by holding a curry night at our local social, the Central club in Hucknall. During this night we will also be doing a raffle, prizes from which i have gained from local businesses. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
