I have been lucky(?!) enough to secure a place in the 2012 London Marathon and have chosen to run in aid of the established charity Keep a Child Alive as a part of the 1111 initiative.<br><br>Keep a Child Alive provide life-saving AIDS treatment, care, nutrition, support services and love to children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India. The 1111 initiative aims to raise £1million for this worthy cause. It doesn't have to be sporting - it could be cake sales, hosting a charity night in a restaurant, or night club, a private viewing at a cinema, or something different altogether!! All that we ask is that you find 100 people to donate £10. See the website for more ideas.</span></span></p>
