It helps children who are suffering from leukaemia and cancer. It also helps members of the family who are in need, hardship or distress while supporting such children.

Story

As many of you know, my family work closely with a charity called The Emily Ash Trust, very closely. Just over 5 years ago we lost my sister Mollie to Leukaemia. She battled with the cancer first when she was 5 and then again when she relapsed at 10. Both times undergoing severe Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy, eventually leading to a bone marrow transplant. Mollie lost her fight in May 2006 at age 11.

I have experienced some of the fantastic work that The Emily Ash Trust do. A year after Mollie passed away the charity sent us on a family holiday for 2 weeks to Kenya. To re-bond and spend some quality time together. This is what the charity are about, their aim is to best support the families who have a child suffering from Cancer. Knowing from 1st hand experience what this can mean to a family, the work that the charity do is that much more amazing.

For more information about The Emily Ash Trust visit them on www.emilyashtrust.com.

Please help me in raising money and sponsor me to do the triathlon!
