Story

Please help me to support the London Lesbian And Gay Switchboard (LLGS) and acheive a personal cycling goal of cycling nearly 200 miles from Central London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris! LLGS does important work to support LGBT people including those who are questioning their sexuality. Although it seems like attitudes toward homosexuality are changing, many people still face difficult circumstances. For instance, gay muslims (even in the UK) may face significant cultural barriers to coming out. Others may suffer self-hatred, need guidance in practicing safer sex, or just need a guide to local LGBT resources and services. LLGS helps over 30000 callers a year with information, support, and referrals. It is run by volunteers and needs all the support it can get in difficult economic times. Please help me support them and reach my cycling and fundraising goals!!

About the charity

London Lesbian & Gay Switchboard provides an information, support and referral service for lesbians, gay men, bisexual people and anyone who needs to consider issues around their sexuality. 160 trained telephone volunteers provide support to around 30,000 callers each year, with many more attempting to call us.
