Joseph Lillywhite 5-a-side tournament · 21 July 2013

Donations are paid into Solving Kids' Cancer’s general funds for our charitable activities. We help families affected by neuroblastoma through the provision of support and information; as well as investing in research and advocating for access to better treatment

Story

My Godson Joseph is having frontline treatment for stage 4 neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer. I am holding a 5 a side football tournament for the Neuroblastoma Alliance UK because they will help Joseph if he needs clinical treatment that is only available abroad. Joseph has a long road ahead of him before remission but we would like to fundraise for Neuroblastoma Alliance UK now so that funds are available should treatment abroad be required. The charity helps children if they need clinical treatment that is only available abroad. To date, they have enabled 21 children to access the potentially life-saving clinical treatment abroad they needed and have funded ground-breaking neuroblastoma research. They also support families and we are assured that if Joseph needs their help at any stage or in the future they will fully support him.

We are praying that Joseph’s frontline treatment is a success and that we won’t need any further treatment. Should Joseph not require such treatments any funds raised will go directly to The Neuroblastoma Alliance UK to help fund children who do need further treatment. In addition,  the funds will aid the research and development of new and improved treatment of this childhood cancer.

Thank you so much in advance for your kind donation.
