Bliss is the UK charity for premature and sick babies. We offer guidance and information at a critical time in families' lives and we also fund ground-breaking research and campaign for babies to receive the best possible level of care regardless of when and where they are born.

My son, Baby Joseph Steven Flanagan born 16/10/09 at 11:08pm.

He was 13 weeks early and weighed just 2lb 12oz, and was currently being cared for in Middlesbrough's James Cook University Hospital.

We're organising a big charity football match/charity evening for some time at the end of July 2010.

We will all, as players, be carrying out our individual sponsorships for the match. All funds raised from the day/night will go directly to Bliss Premature Baby Charity.

We raised in excess of £1,300 on the Charity evening on January 31st, so well done!
