The Prince's Trust Palace to Palace 2016 · 2 October 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

I'm going to cycle the Palace to Palace route from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle to help raise funds for the Prince's Trust.

The trust helps young underprivileged people get the vital support needed to get into education and employment. Many of the young people the Trust help are in, or leaving, care, facing issues of homelessness, mental health issues and trouble with the law. Offering free programmes gives young people the practical and financial support needed to stabilise their lives, developing key skills while boosting confidence and motivation.

Generations of young lives could be completely different without the vital support to help develop key skills and confidence to live fulfilling lives. Life isn't predetermined, and the Prince's Trust helps propel young people's future to positive outlooks.

More on the Prince's Trust

We support 13-30 year olds who are unemployed or struggling at school and are at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people they help are in, or leaving, care; facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems. The Trust gives vulnerable young people the practical and financial support needed to stabilise their lives, helping develop self-esteem and transferable skills for work. The money fundraised will help change the lives of some of the hardest to reach young people in the UK. More at https://www.princes-trust.org.uk/.
