We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

I am taking part in Mind's RED January challenge. This means I will be running every day in January... This may not seem like the biggest challenge, but I've been away from running for a while and 31 days of running will take some physical and mental effort!

As many of you know, I've struggled with anxiety and depression, most recently being signed off work for a fortnight in July 2016. I know how valuable the support of family, friends and charities like Mind can be and how much they have helped me. I'm still working on it all, but I feel more in control and hopeful and want others to feel that same hope.

I'm challenging myself right from the start of 2017 by taking part in RED January, setting a target of just £100, but aiming for this to be a starting point for more challenges and fundraising to raise awareness and provide support for those struggling with mental health issues.
