Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
For Douglas Bland 3rd September 1981- 7th October 1997.
I have decided to take part in a sponsered absiel and zip wire event that the meningitis trust is organizing.I have wanted to do something like this,since my little brother Douglas died suddenly of Meningitis C on October 7th 1997.He was 16 only the month before.
I and everyone who knew him ,still love and miss him like crazy, so I am taking part in this event in memory of him,as it just happens to fall on the 9th aniversary of his death,at his favourite football teams ground, I really feel I must take part.
I'm actually quite looking forward to doing it (though I'm sure I'l be a mess on the day!)
Please sponsor me as I have to raise a minimum of £150 in order to take part.,but would love to raise as much as I can,as it all goes to a good cause, Meningitis Trust.
