TackleAfrica uses the power and popularity of football to deliver HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services to young people on football pitches across the continent

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We are the mighty Jossies Giants and on Saturday 19th July we're going to play football for twelve hours on Clapham Common. This might sound like a laugh, but after midday it will be anything but. Though we're all footballing legends, for some of us the glory days are in the past.

All of the blood, sweat and tears will be worth it though because it's in aid of a great charity. Tackle Africa sends UK based football coaches to Africa to teach kids about HIV/AIDS awareness. Not in the classroom, where it's boring and they might not listen, but on the football pitch, where its fun and relevant. It's a brilliant idea and it really works.

Tackle Africa survives entirely on donations and is run by volunteers (and one brilliant member of staff, but she's paid a pittance and is worth every penny). Please be generous - all your money will directly to fund future projects.
