About our charity : Action for M.E. Action for M.E.
M.E. devastates the lives of around 240,000 people in the UK. They live with severe pain and exhaustion and many are left housebound or bedbound. Action for M.E. helps to improve the lives of people with M.E. by providing specialist support and information whilst campaigning for research, treatments and services.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Anything you donate will be very gratefully received!

I am running the marathon in aid of Action for ME because this is a charity that is important for my family.  My big sister, who is also running the marathon with me, suffered from Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome for much of her Sixth Form and University life, she is now fully recovered but the illness has made a big impact on her life.  We believe there is no better way to prove her fitness than by running the London Marathon 2008.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Action for M.E. will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
