The Mouth Cancer Foundation raises awareness of mouth, throat and other head & neck cancers as well as provides support to patients, carers and health professionals. Its website has patient experiences, provides links to relevant sections of other sites, and has a unique online support group of over 1,200 members.

I'm taking part in a 10km walk in London on 21st September to raise money for the Mouth Cancer Foundation in memory of my husband, George, who died in May 2007.

The MCF website and forum were really helpful to me and George during his illness and since, providing information, support and inspiration from contributors all over the world.

I'm aiming to raise £1000 to help them continue their work, so need sponsors.
