Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Next year I am going to be spending 8 months in Uganda (leaving January 2010). I am going with the development organisation Student Partnership Worldwide (SPW).

I will be working on a Health programme - raising awareness and helping to prevent HIV/AIDs. I will be doing this through health sessions in schools, running community events, organising workshops, informal teaching etc.
After a month of training in the country I will move to a rural community for 7 months. I am going to live and work with a local (national) volunteer.
To go on the placement SPW asks for a donation. The amount I donate is up to me. I hope to raise around 4,000 euros (3,600 pounds). However, I won't be able to reach this amount with out your support!
