Forth Bridge Abseil · 24 June 2012 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our group of Modern Apprentices have been tasked with planning and carrying out a fundraising activity as part of the Volunteer module of their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award. They have arranged to take part in a charity abseil from the Forth Rail Bridge on Sunday 10th June 2012 in support of the NSPCC.

This will be a real challenge as it is a 165ft drop, SAS-style (free fall), onto the beach below, and I will be joining them for the abseil, helping to raise sponsorship alongside the group.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks,

Jamie Proudfoot
