The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art has a worldwide reputation for excellence in theatre training. RADA believes that talented actors and technicians should be entitled to training regardless of their financial circumstances. As a charity we fundraise to support the students and work of the Academy.

Story

Greetings to my family, friends and supporters!

I am about to embark on the most exciting journey of my life:  I'm going to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London!  RADA provides the most rigorous training an actor can have.  Over the next three years, the skills I learned at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) will be honed to exciting new levels, as RADA's education is comprehensive, including acting for the stage, television, movies and radio.

Since our course day runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30  or 11:30 p.m., with further evening preparation for the next day, I can only work during vacations.  After four years at UMich, the cupboard is looking a little sparse.  So, in the greatest tradition of the theater, my hat's out to you!  Any dollar bills or loose change will help me greatly and will be so much appreciated.

Thanks so much for your support!

Love,

Rebecca
