WRONG WAY ROUND!
This Summer Tom Blakeman, 25, will be carrying out a solo cycling challenge which will see him travel the length of the UK. From John O'Groats to Lands End, not only will Tom be cycling up to 130 miles per day but also he will be cycling against the wind, effectively doing the well known cross country route the 'Wrong Way Round' making the challenge that bit more difficult.
A keen cyclist and all round adventurer Tom is aiming to complete the challenge in 9 days, raising in the region of £1000 on his way. All money raised from the event will go directly to two charities - 'BEN' (The Benevolent Fund for the Automotive Industry) and 'DIANA' (Children's Community Nursing Support) based in Wales.
Commenting on the forth coming event Tom says: "This is something I have thought about for a long time, a solo challenge which will rely totally on my self discipline and fitness to complete in the 9 day time frame I have set myself, and in the process raising money for two very deserving charities. I am hoping people will see the difficulty of the 'Wrong Way Round' and pledge their support to the event."
Thankyou for all your support so far!!!!
