We are the UK’s leading autism research charity. Our mission is to create breakthroughs that enable all autistic people to live happier, healthier, longer lives. We do this by funding research, shaping policy and working with autistic people to understand their needs.

Story

Not only did I complete the 13.1-mile course but, in my mind, I just "blew it away". The official start to finish time as measured by the chip on my shoe was 1:37:12 and so I am absolutely delighted to come in below 1:40.

I am also delighted that I have met my fundraising target, for which I am very grateful to all the donors. The "books" aren't closed yet and so do feel free to add to this page or drop me a cheque/cash. It is a great charity to support, tackling an issue with far-reaching implications which we still barely understand.

The photo was another taken by my 7 year old daughter, Lucy, just after I finished. I think she has a career in photography ahead of her and I can't imagine anyone else making me look more like Achilles!
