Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Am doing a London to Paris cycle ride (some have suggested pub crawl but to my dismay its not the case) raising funds for The Royal British Legion early September. The Legion provides care and support to members of the British Armed Forces- you probably best know it for its annual poppy appeal. So after a few too many pints an English friend talked me (a Frenchman!) into taking part in the 460km ride over 4 days from London to the Arc de Triomphe- am hoping the pace will be more sedate than those nutters in the Tour de France. I’ve set myself the objective of not only finishing the trip, keeping up with the fast group but more importantly raising a minimum of 800 pounds. I was hoping that you could possibly help me along by promoting the event and encouraging people to donate on the charity web site www.justgiving.com. With the upcoming celebrations in a number of local towns and villages of the liberation of Provence its actually the right time for many of us to remember that we should be grateful to those members of the armed forces who require our help once their service is finished.
